This is the first of many songs we'll do this year. As the year goes on, our songs will improve. I need a few students to help me come up with some hip-hop rhymes in the future for our various songs. Anyone interested?

Here's all 3 songs we've created so far this year. I think each one gets better and better. By the end of the year we'll have a full cd's worth of original songs created in class.

Our subject pronoun mp3 is complete and ready to be downloaded. The mariachi mp3 version of the song is also available. I found a real mariachi in South Texas over the holidays to record a Spanish version of our subject pronoun song. I even have this picture to prove it.

Our Adverbs mp3 is done and ready to be downloaded. It turned out okay. Bells 2 & 7 sing in unison about adverbs. Personally, I'm really looking forward to the Pronouns mp3 currently in production. It's gonna be huge.

Hi. This week in class we read a number of newspaper articles. When we finished each group had to pick an article to use in this audio activity. Each group member had to take the role of a person in one of the articles we read. The audio files listed here are the result of those decisions. In each audio file below the group members each read their roles aloud.

Podcast #3 has been posted. This new show features a discussion among the podcast crew about future show possibilities. Nicole D. is back with her regular show True Life Sixth Grade Stories. Alexis from the One on One Advice Column page speaks with Nicole this week about a few more advice letters. Anthony from the Myths and Legends page talks about his next blog subject, Dracula.
