last post...Awww *cry*

Konnichi wa! I HAVE MY DIGITAL PICTURES TODAY!!!! YAAAAAYYYYYY!!!!!The picture with the girl with the red kimono is one that I found on the internet. well, I found the background image on the internet, then made another copy, cropped it, put it with the background, used the mask photoshop CS), made the butterfly, added the glow, made her transparent, improved the quality of the picture, then finally blurred the background image. The second picture is completely made from scratch, except for the flowers. I made it for my mom for mother's day. Anyway, I scanned my drwaing, colored it, colored the background, attached a picture of a boquet of roses, made the roses glow, made the girl's face glow, and added words to it, made the letters glow, and last, I added the heart. The reason why I have no time to talk about my pictures is because I'm trying to type DEPARTED:HISTORY OF THE BLACK ROSE!!! I changed the title and the whole plot though, but here goes.

CHRONUS TOWER :PROLOGUE

Many centuries ago, a terrible war raged between the Guardians of Time and the Lords of the Wind. Humans polluted the earth and disrespected all it's natural elements. The Guardians of Time wanted to obliterate the humans and return time to before humans roamed the earth. The Lords of the Wind would not allow this for they trust the humans and believed that compromising is the best way. Thus, the dreadful war began. The Guardians of Time summoned great mammoths, dinosaurs, and they used time to battle the Lords of the Wind. The Lords of the Wind summoned all the earth's elements; fire, stone, wind, and water. The battle raged on for years till only a few from each side were left. The battle still continues on earth, humans waiting for the conqueror who would decide their fate. Each of the nations; the Realm of Spirits, the Castle of Illusion, the Cloud of Wings, the Sea of Rain, and the Imperial Stone, built one tower on their terrain. The towers will emit a golden blaze when a side is nearing victory. It was also built to remind people of the vast war that many fear. What the nations do not know is that four warriors will rise up and put their faith on the trial. Their decisions may annihilate the world of save it.

Chapter One: CRIMSON

The wind blew furiously. Trees stirred and a blanket of darkness engulfed the gray clouds. There was a sense of sadness in the air. The ominous clouds threatning to deal a heavy blow upon Aime, a village positioned at the far side of the nation of wings. Cloud of Wings is what they called the whole nation. It is where most people come to grieve over their loved ones or buy medicine for the sick. It is the land before heaven.

The wind stirred once more. A teardrop fell from the sky. Then another, until the streets were uninhabited by people. All disappeared except for a dark figure lurking beneath the shadows of an old tree. The figure was wearing a medium length cloak as dark as the clouds above her. It was a woman. Her head was hidden beneath a hood, but her eyes still pierced through the darkness. The color of smoke from her eyes glowed like fire as she slowly looked up at the dim clouds above her. "The sky cries for many," she whispered. The cold tears from heaven touched her cheeks and dripped onto the ground in rhythm. Tip, top, tip, top... Footsteps from behind her destroyed the peace. Large splashes of water clung to her feet while she ran into the fog and dissapeared into nothing.

More footsteps came scurrying to where the woman had just left. There were five new figures, each of them coated in red and silver armor. It was plain to see that these men were soldiers from the Imperial Stone, a large nation beyond the sea. They held large spears and had swords attached to their slippery armor. One swipe from their sharp-edged swords would send you straight to your death.

"How are we to find that wretched prisoner? The ship will leave in no more than one hour along with the other hundred jewel workers."

"You needn't worry. The mighty emperor will not care for such a pitiful excuse for a jewel worker. The emperor has many others to slave to his every whim. Their fate is sealed."

"We need only to find and confine one other pathetic being and send him in her place. All of them are of equal value to the emperor, worthless."

Each of the soldiers shouted a glorious bellow to the sky and marched away, unaware that two pairs of eyes were watching from a safe distance.

* * *

The cloaked lady moved silently as rain kept falling on her soaked clothes, her head down. Her footstep echoed in the fog as the dim clouds watched and followed her every movement.

The rain dropped heavier. A high-pitched bell rang quietly as the lady strolled inside a small market. She slowly moved towards the counter and pulled her damp hood down. She looked up with her smoked colored eyes. Her hair was a light silver, the tips black. She had a young face, one of an adolescent. Her eyes stared at the old man infront of her, piercing and emotionless. The old man took a small step back, cautious of the girl before him.

"Ao..." the girl spoke. her voice barely above a whisper.

The old man only looked at her with frightened eyes. His hands were shaking in fear as he requested her to repeat her inaudible words.

"Ao..." she repeated, slightly louder this time.

He simply stared at her for a couple more seconds before turning around and walking into a seperate room. The girl waited until the old man came back. When he did, he handed her a small tube in the shape of a rose bud. The girl took it immediately, not even uttering a small word of appreciation as she walked out the door.

TO BE CONTINUED!!

For some of you who don't now, "Ao" means blue in Japanese. if there is any error left in my writing, please excuse me. I was trying to rush and I can only type as fast as I can see the letters on the keyboard.

In the next update, (sometime next school year) I'll continue the first chapter. there's 1 and a half pages left in the first chapter. I already have five chapters written and each of them is about 2 to 3 pages long. ^^ thank you!!

YaY! Candy! (>^_^)>

(>^_^)> ~ <----waterbending kirby!

I'm a little hyper today because of candy. I apologize for my behavior (*crickets chriping in the background*) Anyway, I have (*drumroll*) four new pictures! my first picture is a drawing of a girl reaching up for this guys's hair. Guygrli have no idea why so please don't ask me. I was just practicing positions again like I normally do. It took me a long time to draw this one because when I did the hand, I accidentally drew her right hand on her left arm! (*audience laughs in the background and I give them a deadly stare*) I had to fix it so I used my left hand for a guide, but now her hand looks all smudgy (<---is that even a word?). Oh, you can see the word GALE on the bottom-right and you can see the name Crimson Night on the top-left of the paper. Crimson night is sort of like my nickname at GALE (if you could call it a nickname).

my second picture is a drawing of the members of GALE. The one on the left is me, the one in the middle is one of my classmates at ODC (Jessica), and the one on the right is christin who has a blog here too!<----It's called My Drawings. I'm holding a pencil, Jessica is holding a bowl of ramen noodles (RAMEN! *audience claps*), and the choco-fanatic (Christin) is hold Newartistsa GIANT bar of PURE CHOCOLATE! Our Gale symbol is below the picture of us.

My third picture is a picture of this girl in my story. She has a flute in her hair and her eyes are a cool-gray color. there's not much to say about this picture except that....It took me 2 and a half hours! Too much blending.....I had to blend four colors to get her hair just right, but it was worth it. ^_^

5 New Pics!!!! ^0^

Konnichi wa ningens!I have five new pictures to show you guys today. This of course does not include the digital picture that took me practically months to make! *ahem* Anyway, It's nice to be back. I thought we weren't going to have the M&M Online Magazine meetings anymore *anime sweatdrop*.

(image 1)  So my first picture is a drawing of a fairy person(*laughs*). She WAS supposed to be a thorn fairy, but when I was done with my drawing, she looked more like a petal fairy.(Well, you can stiil see the spikes on her shoulders and her hand, but the rest of her made her look like some sort of petal fairy. She has this earring on her left ear. Um... There's really no special reason for only her left ear being pierced. Her wings were a random actually, because I just took them out of my head and drew patterens on them. -_-

Jzl3_1

(image 2)  My second picture is a drawing of a girl sitting on a moon. I named this drawing Cresent Moon, and yes I do know that there is manga called Cresent Moon. I just couldn't find a better title. Oh, and as you may have noticed, most of my drawings are meant to be covers for books. Most of them have titles or words on them that suggests what they are about. Well, this drawing started when I was practicing how to draw certain positions. I thought of this "sitting-with-a-book-in-your-hand" position (*laughs*) and I started to draw it. I added the moon she is sitting on second because just a girl sitting on "air" is sort of plain. The small cresent moon in the background is just for decoration, but the samll circle thing is very important. I love to put that shape in my drawings, but sometimes they don't really fit in with the picture.

Jzl2_1(Image 3)  My third drawing is the one with another girl sitting and a large eye behind it. in this picture, I was also practicing with positions, but I was also practicing with eye lashes. Weird, but yes. I love to do really close [close-ups] and most of the time, I have to figure out how the eye lashes are supposed to look like. The girl is basically a random person. (Can you see the cover title? I loooooove making covers. That's why i'm going to be either a manga artist or graphic designer.)

Jzl1_1(image 4)   My fourth picture is a drawing of these two girls. The image of the girl on the right is actually an older version of the girl on the left except that she's changed. She used delicate and fragile, but now she's the young warrior! (*laughs maniacally*) *coughs--ahem* Anyway, this drawing is an image of this mini- mange series that's stuck in my head. I can't seem to get it down on paper.

Jzl_1(image 5)   My last picture is actually the creation of anger and annoyance. You see, there's this person and he told our teacher this-- um...secret(sort of) that I had. I was furious! (<------good word ^^) So I drew this picture and on the computer, I added the words: LIST OF MOST WANTED. On the back, I put this anooying person's name on it. Oh, and the picture of the girl on the from isn't an image of the annoying person. She's only supposed to intimidate people. ^^

Me and my other two best friends are froming this group called Gale. Do you guys know the group CLAMP? They are a 4-women group who have these amazing artistic talents and they have a lot of manga books and movies out. Since the same artists are doing both the movie and the manga, they look the same. (Most manga books don't look like the movies because they're done by different artists. Example: FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST) So, me and my friends are doing the same thing. We're making these mini manga books and are hoping to submit it to THE RISING STARS OF MANGA (<---manga book) where most beginner manga artists start. ^^

                                                                                                  JA-NE!!! ~   <(^-^<)

New Pictures

Konnichi wa ningens? Oh my gosh....I still can't save my digital art!!! I'm getting really frustrated!!I can't save it on a disk or upload it! (*cries* >o<) I'm not sure if I can ever get my didgital picture here. It was supposed to here before Valentine's Day because it is Valentine related (sort of) and it's been weeks and I still can't put it up! (*sighs*) I guess you guys will never see all the hard work that I did...

Moving on..(*switches to happy face mode*) ^O^

My first picture is a picture of a young princess. She was supposed to be an ordinary girl,

except....dopier--did I spell that right? Is it even a word? o.0 Anyway, my frined came over. Well, slept over actually and we were watching Spiral (yay! Spiral!) and there was this girl who was a reporter and she was really annoying.Caitlin Glass plays the reporter girl and she also plays Winry (voice) in FullMetal Alchemist!Me and my friend started sketching more pictures and stuff like that and we both wanted to make a sort of dopey girl.

My second picture is a picture of a girl and she's looking at something above her. I guess she's sort of thinking about all the things that she's done and wondering if what she did was right or may she was looking at the sky and seeing all the colors of the sunset mixing together (pretty ^^). I was praticing doing positions and it didn't really come out right. Maybe it was because I was drawing at 3:50 in the morning (We weren't going to sleep at all...but we accidentally did). that's why there are so many erase marks and extra lines on it (*laughs nervously*)

                                                                                                                                  Jane!! ^0^

Hey, did any of you guys enter in the Valentine contest? (<----Brandon people) They said they were going to give out prizes. The whole 7th grade Discvery team is competing! Yay!Hopefully one in our team will (Discovery--I'm in it!! ^^) win!

Metal Wings

Konnichi wa ningens! ^_^ Hey, I'm done with my digital art, but I still have to figure out how to save it on a disk and make sure it works. I'm stuck on the saving part -_-. I'm not going to tell you about my digital art just yet. (---I'm going to leave you in suspense! Ha! >.<)Anyway, I have three drawings for today.

My first picture is a girl with long flowing hair. Well, one day when I just finished reading this awesome book, (Shadow Spinner!--(means teller of Tales or stories)) I imagined what one of the characters face would look like. Her skin was smooth and her eyes were dark and deep(--soulful) and she has long black hair that was tied with a ribbon. Her hair fell straight on her back. I was trying to catch that effect by using light, long, flowing lines and I think that  I did a pretty good job of doing so.

My second picture is the one with three people in them. They are the characters for a story that I was drawing. A friend of mine forced me to make a comic (manga) and I got stuck doing all the work....-_- I told them to write some sort of script, but they didn't and I had to come up with my own. Writing a story about school isn't easy because I don't know what to do. Two people who supported my idea (and forced me to make the manga) are the main characters for my story. They said that I was supposed to be in it too and that I should try to draw them with the look and body of a sixteen year old (-Ha! With the brain of a twelve year old  >o<). So, the people you see on this picture are the main characters of the story.

My third picture is a picture of a girl on a platform made of wires. See, she lives in this metal junkyard (with her grandfather in and old almost destroyed building)and she wants to get out and see the world, but she doesnt have any knowledge on the world around her. So, she builds these metal wings out of the things that were in the junkyard (glass, metal, copper etc.) and one day she hops to fulfill her dream by flying out and up into the sky so that she can finally have freedom.

Realistic

Jazlgrl

Konnichi wa ningens!(lol) I have two new drawings and one of them is a picture of a girl with a necklace. Well, I was trying to practice showing emotion by drawing their eyes a certain way and I think it came out pretty well. See, she's supposed to running away from her home and she looks back and sees something terrible...*eerie music* ..wonder what she saw?

Jazlchain

The next picture is a drawing of a hand. It's my hand actually ^_^. My mom kept telling me to draw something more realistic, not anime or cartoons (-_-). Well, I drew my hand in a sort of mysterious way ( I think..). I was trying to show that she was reaching up for something that was very important to her. I'm not sure if I actually made my point, but anyway, I decided to make it a bit more interesting so I added the necklace that the other girl in my picture was wearing. It took me some time to get the beads on the necklace the right size. (In my other picture with the girl it doesn't have any beads. The water drop thing was on a sash.^_^)I still have a few mistakes that I made, but I'll let you figure that out ^_~.

About me switching to digital art, I already started experimenting with Photobucket CS months ago, but Iaccidentally deleted on of my pictures with a Christmas theme! Right now I have 2 pictures ready, but I don't know how I'm supposed to show it on here. It looks a lot better when it's on the computer than when I print it. (computer problems...-_-)I still have to ask my dad how I'm supposed to do that.(he's been working on photoshop whenever he has time...maybe he knows..)Both of my pictures has some sort of poetry or saying on it. I'm just a poetry type person -_-. Anyway, I've been reading books about Photoshop and I read about this guy who is a college student (I think..) and he's been really sucessful with Photoshop. When I saw his works, my eyes just landed on the computer screen. (0_0) I couldn't believe the guy! He was really good! Maybe genius good....

Right now, I'm working on making reflections on the water using the Gaussian blur(or something that starts with a "G" that's hard to remember >.<). I'm using a lens flare to make fireflies. Some of you may know what it looks like. I'm done typing already ^-^

                                                                                                                      Ja-ne~! ^-^

The dividers on this page can be made by Photoshop...Maybe I should make one...

Poems

Blackdragon_1

Konnichi wa! ^_^ Kudasai- Gomen nasai!!!(I'm very sorry! -_-) I didn't forget about the online magazine, but the only reason I didn't come is because I don't know when the meeting is! I know that it's a lame excuse, but it is true!(I got confused during the Holidays...)Remember when I told you that my stepbrother and my grandmother were coming? Well, they did and they're sleeping at my house(not really my house..It's my parent's house..)and they are planning to stay here for one month. Anyway, it's just a little fact about me. First of all, there's also 2 poems that I wanted to share^_^. Usually, I make poems when I have nothing to do and when I'm inspired. In math, there's this project that we were supposed to do. Each student is supposed to create a game and it has to relate to Math. I just typed up the instructions for my game yesterday and I decided that my game should relate to both Math and animals(wolves to be exact) because I wanted the game to have a Little bit more meaning. My friend made me like wolves so much ^_^. In my first poem, I talk about how wolves are nearing extinction.

Wolf's Rain

The winter night roars with despair

Crystals falling that what seemed so rare

The wolves howl and cry to the moon

Because soon and very soon....

The numbers of their pack will cease to exist

Wolves nearing destruction's midst

Here's my second one....

Nature's Message

The rain starts and thunder roars

Destruction that inferior humans brought

Was it power that mankind sought?

The red moon cries in the night

The dark clouds show that this is not right

The mountains watch the trampled roses

Should humans be laid on burning crosses?

The wind whispers something to the trees

"The wolf that cries and weeps.."

"The day will come when they step into the sun.."

"The end of their suffering has now begun.."

Yang1

I do have some drawings, but I'm not going to talk about my drawings. You see, my  drawings don't really have a meaning. They express what I'm feeling at that exact moment, so my characters don't have any names.Right now, I'm going to tell you about Japan!! (*random applause from out of nowhere*) You know how Japanese girls in pictures are always wearing kimonos? Well, actually, Japanese girls wear yukatas because yukatas are less expensive and not as complex. Also, in Japan, they have a place Animetown!!! It's a real place! Where anime lovers get together while in the costumes of their favorite character!(You don't really have to..)In Animetown, they sell Anime posters, bus tickets and all other things you can think of! In the restaurants at AnimeTown, they have special computers(with a touch screen) that you can play games on like tell your fortune and you can also win a poster! ^_^

Arigatou gozamasu!! --Jiezl

One more thing-----> Im thinking of switching to digital art. (Photoshop CS) I've experimented with Photoshop and it was both frustrating and fun. I'm not sure yet, but I will continue drawing pencil drawings..

Kamui

Halfmoon     Konnichi wa ^_^  (Gomen nasai) I'm really sorry that I wasn't here last time. I forgot when we were supposed to meet so I had to ask some people to figure out when the next meeting was supposed to be on...and here I am!! ^_^  Before I tell you about my latest drawing, I'm going to tell you what's been going on in my life for the past two weeks ^^ (It is exciting....for me anyways)Well, my dad just informed me that my grandmother (I used to call her Lila when I was little) and my stepbrother Jaison will be coming here sometime in December and I haven't seen them in 4 years!!!! I was only nine when I moved here. I really want to see them. ^^

Closed
(Now back to my drawings...) I spent about 3 to 4 hours drawing and coloring this drawing (colored picture), but it's not finished yet, but I will show you the finished product. The guy on the left is going to be what Kamui looks like, reddish hair, an evil stare (lol), and important marks on his skin from his past. I already have the outline (web) done for what's going to happen in my story. I've already started, but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to put it online because in the future, there might be some fighting parts of something >.<  and I'm not sure if that's appropriate (^0^ big word..) Now, the girl on the bottom-right corner is the girl in Departed. I already forgot her name so I'll just name her Seiya. A friend of mine is going to help me edit my story. I'm not sure if she wants me to put her name online, so I'll have to ask her first. One more thing (lol, Jackie Chan), I just wanted to let you know that I'm not getting any better with dialog (giving you a heads up).

Here is part of the first chapter....

Intro

A rose--elegant and pure; turned black on a dark stormy night of winter. Powered by the serpent pendant and narrowly escaped capture. Armies sent forth by the king; led by a determined leader and sent to an impossible mission. The ultimate chase has now begun....

Chapter One

it was a silent night of winter and the air was filled with a misty fog. All was mute; the gentle chirps on crickets and hooting of owls were all that was heard........and the shrills screams of agonizing pain...

A  small temple looked ghostly under the moonlight. Large vines covered the temple, chunks of stone had been carved and worn away. The full moon shone directly above the temple, casting its shadow, and covering the shrine in black darkness. The blood-curdling cries could now be heard over the whole forest; each louder than the one before it.

Inside, was hardly any different. More carvings lay on the wall, some were new. A falcon, a dragon, a lion, and a phoenix were all carved on the walls; some unknown writing slithered around them. Going in deeper inside the temple, a large tiger had been chiseled onto the large stone-like door. Beneath the palm was a large slot, shaped like a palm... (TO BE CONTINUED..)

Now, I just have to put all of my ideas in order. On my next picture, I drew a girl levitating jewels on her palms. There is no deep meaning on this picture because I was just trying to figure out how to make look like she was holding out her hand in front of her (also trying to figure out proportions) and that's basically it...

                                                           Ja-ne~!!! ^_^

New Posts ^^

Konnichi wa!!!^_^

I'm back at the Brandon(M&M) Online Magazine and again, I'm going to t be talking about my drawings. First, I have to tell you what happened to my story- "Departed: History of the Black Rose". Well, I already know what's going to happen in my story, but I'm confused about what I'm supposed to write first. I had to start over a couple of times too and it turns out that I'm no good at the dialog(XP). I also need more ideas for it. Like I told you, I already know what will happen in the beginning and the end, but I'm stuck on what's supposed to happen in the middle. "How will they get to the Underground kingdom or the Tower?" is all I'm thinking right now....

Anyway, about my drawings, the one with the large cross symbol is something I drew as a gift to somebody for their birthday ^_^. Right now, I'm experimenting on how to wings when flying, landing, and swaying with the breeze. I don't know what I'm going to name him yet though or maybe he could be what Kamui would look like.

I put all my time into making my other drawing. I spent about 2 1/2 hours making it or maybe even longer. The fact that I didn't know how it was going to look like and that I was experimenting with it made the work even more time consuming and tiring. You can see a girl with a large sword (Yes, that's a sword >.<) on the top right. She's from one of my other drawings that I didn't post here. I'm not sure about her name either, but she's a warrior from Reikai (Spirit World). The girl on the bottom is a fallen angel (See? I'm stuck on drawing wings >_<) and she's from one of my other drawings too.

There's a song I wanted to share,(from a video game ^^) but I'll save it for the next post.

                                                                                                         Ja~ne!!! ^0^

Jewel and Emi

Hi! This is the last time that i'll be posting this year, but i'll be back next summer. Anyway, i have 2 pictures that i want to show you. One of them is a special character in the story that i'll be writing this summer. (She's the one in the long gown) Her name is Emi Dameru. Her first name means "blessed with beauty" and her last name means "stop". She only appears for a couple of chapters in my story. She's a very jumpy and sometimes can be a little too hyper for her own good. Emi came from a place called "Tsubasa Mononoke" with means "Spirit Wings". Spirit Wings is located underground. It's a place where people can use their special abilites without harming anyone. You could call Emi the Queen of Tsubasa Mononoke because she's the one who started it after all. Emi has powers that are incredible! Her special power is the power to control the weather. snow, hail, rain, thunder, you name it. There's also one other thing, she's a shape-shifter. I don't mean turning into a lock, or a TV, I mean being able to immitate someone's appearace and personality. She's one of the rarest kinds of her kind. Only 3 are left.

The other picture is a picture is my favorite. Her name is Jewel Kurayami. She has long dark green hair and magenta colored eyes. Jewel is also in my story. She lives in a tower on a cloud high above the ground called "Hikari" which means "Light". (Not Satoshi from DNAngel. His name is now Satoshi Hiwatari.) It's weird because her last name means Darkness, but she lives in a place called "Hikari" which means light. She has also has a large pet dragon who lives with her. Jewel calls him Tatsu, a reasonable name for a pet dragon. (Tatsu means dragon) Jewel and Tatsu appear in my story towards the last few chapters. She can be cold-hearted, but most of the time she is quiet and unoticable.

I'll see you next year! ^_^ Ja-ne~!

Departed and Riko

I'm typing about the original drawings that I did last week. One of them is a close up of a character in my story. Her name is Ryuko (Riko for short)and she's the leader of the Gaia army. She acts very mature for her age. She became Gaia's leader when she was only 18. Her mission is to track down Kamui and imprison him in a dungeon on Land of Tatsu (Land of the Dragons). She has long red hair that's always tied up and hypnotizing, emerald colored eyes. She's a brave leader and a fierce warrior. She carries a sword with her at all times. Her father, Lord Hima, is the ruler of all the legendary islands, Land of Tatsu, Hime no Tsubasa, and Laden. (Land of the Dragons, Princess Wing, Summon) Riko's father was never impressed with her abilities. Her father told her that when she captures Kamui and imprisons him, he will give her his respect and trust. He may also reward her with a spot on the throne.

The other picture is the cover for the book that i'll be writing this summer: "Departed: History of the Black Rose" The main characters' names are Kamui, Amaya(Aya for short), Kio and Ryuko. The first part is when Amaya was getting some freshwater from a small river. She heard a rustle from a large bush that was just right behind her. She then heard a small thud and turned around. What she saw was a boy. It was a boy with Navy blue colored hair. (Kamui) She noticed that he was unconcious and was badly wounded. She grabbed his arm and placed it on her shoulders, supporting him. She dragged him back to her village where Kio, (Amaya's little brother) was patiently waiting for her to come back. While on the way to her village, she looked and the strange boy's deep wounds. He had a large gash on his stomach which was bleeding and scratches all over him. Amaya was indeed very uncomfortable, but she figured that she had to help. She suddenly noticed that the boy was somehow familiar to her......(end first part)

Here's some really cool quotes that's in the story: (I made them up ^_^)

" The Black Dragon dwells in the darkness...destruction following in its path..all shall perish..."

"Towards the moon and into the light...there lies your greatest desires.."

InuYasha and Yume

Konnichi wa! I'm going to type about the picture that I drew: InuYasha and Yume. First, I'm going to talk about Yume (left). Yume's name means "dream" in Japanese. She is an original drawing of mine, but I made her eyes just  like Kurama's form YuYu Hakusho. She's a part wolf youkai and part fire youkai just like Hiei. She lives in the Nigenkai, (Human World) as a high school student. In Makai, (Demon World) she lives as a kaitou (thief). She has dark black hair with crimson eyes. Her hobbies are playing the flute and sketching. Her parents died when she was very young. She worked for Koenma a few years ago, but then decided to quit. She does have a brother named Kio. They were separated when her parents died. Her only quest is to find her one and only brother. When she's depressed, she sings the the song her mother used to sing to make her go to sleep: (It's a real Japanese song ^_^)

Mikazuki no schale ni.Hoshi no pierce hazushite. Doushiyou mune ga mune ga ippai. Hanabi ga hoshi ni nattemo. Koi ga yami e kietemo. Onegai yo kiss wo yamenaide, biroodo no kaori de nusundemo ii. Kono heart ginga de, deatta kio yo. Yofuke no manto hirogereba nijiiro. Motto, Motto aishiteru. Tuxedo mirage, tuxedo mirage.

I also drew Inuyasha (right). I copied it from a calendar that I have.(I do not take credit for other people's works) InuYasha is stubborn. He want to get the Shikon Jewel to become a youkai. InuYasha has a sword that Totosai made for him using his father's fang. When the tentsiaga broke in half, his demon blood took over. He became a full-demon like he always wanted to be, but he became venemous. When he turned back into a hanyou, he realized what he had done. He was afraid that Kagome would be put in danger if his demon blood takes over again. Later,Totosai made a new version of the tentsaiga using InuYasha's fang.

New Topic: People often ask me where how learned to draw. Let me answer that question. My dad is the one who inspired me. When I was young, he drew me lots of pictures. He shows them to me and teaches me important tips in drawing. My cousin had these cards that see loved to draw. I usually join him and learn all his techniques. My stepbrothers are also artists. One of my stepbrothers, Jenus, is a comic book artist for DragonBall Z. When I moved here, I had a lot more time to draw. I watch TV to learn how to draw anime and I also use the Internet as a resource. I combine different parts from different characters to make my own. I alreeady got the hang of doing the shading, making it look like it was done on the computer. I practiced drawing for 8 years and I'm not planning on stopping soon. I will fulfill my dream to become a graphic designer!^_^ Arigatou gozaimasu! Ja-ne~!

Introduction

I'm Jiezl Y. and I'm going to be typing about my artworks and things related to them. I go to ODC on Fridays, and I really think going to ODC helped me improve on my artwork. I usually draw anime, but I'm trying really hard to draw other things like animals, and self portraits. I don't trace my drawings, I draw them. Usually my inspiration comes from other people. My friends help me improve and they also tell me if I made a mistake. I also get inspiration from different websites that has incredible graphics. I also get a lot of support from my parents, especially from my dad. He's the one who first taught me how to draw. He's also working to create artworks like me, but by computer. I get a lot of support from my site too.

I do use references to draw my pictures, but I never past them out as my own. If I do past them out as my own, I make sure that I changed some characteristics of the drawing . I learned that showing your copied drawing to the public and claiming it as your own is a crime.

I do use different media in my artwork, but the one I'm most comfortable with are colored pencils. Crayons can turn dull and they won't be able to make perfect details. I also use pastels, but I hardly. I am constantly trying to improve in drawing with only a pen and different colored markers. I do try not to make a lot of mistakes. Paint and watercolor are okay to use, but I do a lot of color mixing so they don't work too good for me. I don't use computers to make create my artworks for the simple reason that I don't know how!

I've been looking at artworks made by other people on the Internet. I was amazed by how teens and other people my age draw! A lot of people really know their principles and elements of design. I usually see lots of fan art on these kinds of websites.
